Hi there, my name is Maggie and I am a Blackface Ewe.

Not that my face is totally black like some of the other sheep. Most of us have a few white splodges here and there. The twins I had last year were totally white!

That is because their daddy is Timothy and he is a Texel Tup and not a Blackface. He was a visitor from the farm next door but he liked us all so much that he decided to stay! This was lucky as we became great friends.

I am looking forward to telling you all about what goes on on the farm - especially at lambing time.
